The chapters are short but packed with a lot of well researched history. This is the story of a band that stuck together through a lot of false starts and missteps, but never lost their integrity to do what they wanted. This a must have book for anyone that has loved this band.”

Canadian francophone site Boulevard Brutal published an extensive review of Small Victories. They say: “A biography, as we know, is addressed first and foremost to the fans of the band or the artist. But as FNM became a cult band over time, as tons of artists cite the group as inspiration, this one proves much more interesting.”

Another Canadian site Bravewords also gave the book a glowing review, saying the book was a “joy to read”. They added: “Some of the band members’ musings on the challenges a group of five young men growing up in a successful rock band face were chilling, and the details of the group meeting where they decided to call it a day were incredible”

Here is the first look at the cover of Small Victories: The True Story of Faith No More by Adrian Harte, which will be published by Jawbone Press in September.

Small Victories

The cover features a distinctive band shot from the world’s foremost rock portrait photographer Dustin Rabin (a never-before-published shot from the Sol Invictus promo shoots in 2015)—and prominently displays Faith No More’s chaos star logo on the design and in the image itself.

Small Victories is already available for pre-order at some online retailers, but full pre-order information and all relevant links will be revealed here tomorrow.
